How to Submit Assignments via Canvas
You can submit online assignments in CPPCanvas using several submission types. Instructors may choose the type of online submission they want you to use. You also have the option to resubmit the assignment if your instructor allows it.
- Access your canvas dashboard
- In Course Navigation, click Assignments
- Tap the name of the assignment you want to view
- To submit an assignment, click the “Start Assignment” button
- Select submission type
- To submit an annotated document, click on the Student Annotations tab
- Select file upload click
- Click to submit an assignment
- View Submission
Note: Student annotation submission types are not supported for group assignments.
Your instructor will determine the appropriate submission type for each assignment. There are four submission types: upload a file, submit a text entry, enter a website URL, or submit media. Only one submission type can be selected per submission.
