The University of Houston (UH) utilizes Blackboard Learn, a widely-used web-based learning management system, to deliver online course materials and allow communication between professors and students. You’ll find additional information about Blackboard Learn UH in the next piece.
What Is Blackboard Learn at the UH?
Blackboard Learn is a online learning management system (LMS) used by the UH to support online and hybrid learning. Blackboard provides a platform for instructors to create, manage, and deliver classes content to students, including syllabi, discussions, quizzes or homework.
Blackboard is a tool available to UH professors that allows for online teaching and administration, as well as communication with students via email and message boards. Grading and assessment options, such as the ability to submit and have homework and tests graded online, are also available in this platform.
In addition to supporting online and hybrid categories, this platform also allows instructors to supplement their face-to-face courses with online resources, such as recorded lectures and supplemental readings.
Bb learn users use Blackboard to access category materials, submit assignments, participate in discussions, and communicate with their instructors and classmates. It also allows students for accessing to their grades and feedback from instructors.
